ADMISSIONS FOR 2012-2013

 

Admission process for 2012-2013 has started. 
 
MONTESSORI ADMISSIONS
 
2.5 years - 3.5 years: Seats are available.
 
3.5 years - 5.5 years: Seats are available only for children coming from a recognized Montessori school.
 
 
ELEMENTARY ADMISSIONS
 
Limited seats are available in the Elementary section (Class 2 - Class 5). However please be aware of the following:
 
1. The school follows an international curriculum where the level of English is very high. The child has to be reading, speaking and comprehending English at the level required by the curriculum.
 
2. Arabic is taught as a second language in the school. Children joining in later classes will have to cope with the required level.
 
3. The level of Mathematics is also considerably higher. Children should have basic concepts clear at the required level.
 
 
 
  
 
 
 
 

Admission Process

Initial Step
Parents should go through the school website and understand Al Qamar Academy's different approach.  They can make an appointment to come see the school on Saturday between 10:30-12:30 every Saturday in January & February 2012.
 
Submission of Application form
The application for Admission is available online. The form should be completed and email to admissions@alqamaracademy.in.
 
School Tour & Parent Discussion
Upon receipt of the application for admission, an interview will be scheduled by the school.  The discussion will focus on ensuring that the parents are in comfortable with the school's philosophy and approach.
 
Scholarship
Limited scholarships may become available in 2012-2013 if donors come forward to sponsor children. The scholarship application form is available in the school office.
 
Notice of Acceptance
Parents will be notified about admissions by email and SMS. They will be required to pay the relevant fees within 10 days of this notification to secure the child's seat.
 

Other important information

Transport:
 
Al Qamar Academy DOES NOT provide any transport. All transport is privately arranged by the parents.
