Assalamu alaykum My name is Aisha. This Bakr Eid we slaughtered a goat. On the day of Eid we went to a friend's house. There we watched them slaughter 3 goats. My father and mother had gone looking to buy a goat. But they found no goat. So then later when we were going home we stopped at the Adyar Masjid. A man told us he could get us a goat from a shop. So he went on a motorcycle and we followed him. And then he stopped at a shop and went into the shop with my father while we waited in the car. After some time my father came out and said that he had found a goat and next morning we could come with him and watch the goat being sacrificed. The next day we all except my mother went to the shop. After some time when the man came and said we could come and watch our goat being sacrificed. So we were watching. They came with a brown goat. My father said "This is not my goat. Mine had a white patch." So they looked among all the skins of the goats that had been sacrificed. And then they found one skin which matched the description of my father's goat. My father was upset that they had sacrificed his goat and said "Please give me my money back" They said "We will give you a choice. You can take back your money or you can choose a goat from all these goats." My father looked at the goats and he saw a goat bigger than the others and he chose it. They sacrificed it. Later we came home and the days after that were quite nice becuase we ate meat, meat, meat and meat with a bit of rice. We ate lamb chops, meatballs, rib chops and steak.
