Montessori Age Group (2.5-6 years)

Features of Montessori

Vertical Age Grouping: There is no age based segregation of children into different classes.  All children 3-6 years share the same environment.
Child-driven learning: Children learn what they are interested in, when they are interested! This ensures that their full concentration is on the subject, allowing them to master topics very quickly. Moreover, there are none of the traditional barriers like exams, homework, and boring lectures which turn children off schooling.
Plethora of subjects: Montessori offers children a wide variety of work - from sponging tables, to multiplication; from geographical landforms to geometical solids.
Respect for the child: Each child is respected as an individual and his personality is allowed full scope for development. There is no humiliation, no physical punishment which make a child fear school.
